JIS Libraries: Mission Statement

The library is central to providing a stimulating learning environment that supports the Jakarta Intercultural School vision and aims to promote an information-empowered and literature-enriched school community of independent, lifelong learners.

The Objectives of the JIS Libraries:

• to cultivate a love of literature in a variety of formats
• to provide access to resources that facilitate student learning
• to promote connections between the JIS curriculum and deepen knowledge
• to support the needs of the diverse JIS community
