In 1945, in an attempt to end WWII, the USA decided to drop two atomic weapons on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The USA states it was necessary to end the war; however, many critics believe that it was unnecessary, caused significant harm/death, and moved the world into a dangerous nuclear age.
