Disclaimer: When adding any sort of new technology to one's repertoire, there is always a chance things may quickly crash and burn. Be sure to practice and experiment with new technology tools and ideas in low-stakes circumstances to iron out any potential problems. Then, when you feel confident with yourself and your new skills, bring it to the big summative exam or presentation.

Reconfigure Screen Sharing on New Laptops

I believe a number of you will need to change your security settings to allow zoom to share your screen...

1. It seems you have to have to try (and fail) to share your screen in Zoom before this process will work. Once Zoom requests to "record" your screen, follow the steps below.

2. Go to the security system preference, choose the privacy tab, unlock the settings, choose screen recording, check zoom, then lock it back up.
